Chatham Area Rowing Association

The Savannah Bend Marina, situated on the Wilmington River in Thunderbolt, Ga., is the home of The Chatham Area Rowing Association. Our home water is the portion of intra-coastal waterway located from President Street Bridge to The Savannah Yacht Club.

To get to our boat house: Come East on Victory through Thunderbolt. Go over the large overpass bridge heading to Tybee. Turn left immediately on the other side of the bridge. Follow the road back to Savannah Bend Marina. Park along gate by clubhouse. Thunderbolt, Georgia is in Chatham County.
