There are many ways to help our team financially in a way that directly benefits the CARA members, your business, and the City of Savannah.
Throughout the calender year, the CARA teams will travel in the United States to compete against other cities, colleges, and organizations that have a rowing team. CARA represents the only Rowing Association to compete from Savannah. Being a sponsor means your logo, product, or name will travel with us and show your support for keeping this unique sport available to our community.
Each sponsorship campaign you decide to support is designed to help your business in three ways:
a.Brand Identity- We want to say this company supports our efforts by having your logo next to ours.
b.Customer Visitation- We want to bring our 87 member team and their families to your business.
c.Product Use- Our CARA members want to buy goods from you.
"Supporting CARA will allow us to continue on an agenda to teach confidence and leadership to our college and high school youth. I am trying provide the Savannah community a way to row, but I need your help. Your contribution and support helps keep rowing in our community. NAME: Boat Campaign
DESCRIPTION: -Traveling on the road or around the city, our trailer and boats are 62 feet long and very unique looking. They are always the topic of conversation and questions. Boats always get photographed and displayed. They are also a perfect place for business logos. Sponsorship cost will depend on size and location on boat or trailer.
GOAL: To raise money to buy new boats and trailer repairs.
NAME: Regatta Campaign
DESCRIPTION:-A regatta has 30 programs in attendance, each with about 100-200 people as parents, fans, or members. Very easily, a sports venue (We will attend 5 in the fall and 7 in the spring) can average 3000-6000 member audiences. Our team always sets up a "camp" and has a table display. This is a perfect place for free items to be distributed such as information about your restaurant, hotel, or service. It is also a perfect place for free cups, pens, and other small items that help get your name out. Sponsorship cost depend on amount of product on table.
GOAL: To raise money for hotels.
NAME: Oar Campaign
DESCRIPTION:-CARA is a social group. We meet out for dinners, meetings, and fun. We want to bring our team to your restaurant, bar, or venue. We are currently looking for a "home" for our many events. Our oar campaign is an easy way to show you support having crew be apart of Savannah. Purchasing an oar to hang in your business, your location will benefit by being endorsed by our members, coaching staff, and visiting teams. We would love a reason to choose your establishment and bring our guests from all over the United States. Sponsorship cost is $500.00 per oar.
GOAL: To raise money to buy new oars.
NAME: ARF Rowing Foundation Campaign
DESCRIPTION:- Through The Americanrowing Federation, our 501(c)3 non-profit organizing body which supplies our equipment, you can make a tax deductible donation. There are many private individuals that want to help by simply giving money or donating services outside of the Sponsorship campaigns stated. We want to honor you by allowing your name or logo to be sewn onto a donor flag that will fly over our trailer at races and daily outside our boathouse. C
GOAL: To raise money for equipment and boathouse.
Name: Shirt Campaign
DESCRIPTION:-T-shirts are the currency of all rowers. It is an age old tradition to bet the other team your shirt on a race. The winning team collects the shirts of all the loosing teams. Athletes have also taken to trading them like baseball cards. A good design or great race shirt is coveted. Our CARA shirts will be traded, bet, displayed and sold for years. This is perfect place for logos. Sponsorship cost will be based on size and location on shirt.
GOAL: To raise money for uniforms.
Name: Rower Campaign
DESCRIPTION:- Rowers for the High School and College programs have dues and uniform fees to join. You can directly sponsor an individual, boat, or team by paying these dues for them. Your contribution can also be distributed equally among the athletes. Our team will honor you in a special dinner ceremony at the end of each season. Sponsorship for each rower cost $500.00. A full sponsorship of an 8 person team is $4000.00.
GOAL: To raise money for college and high school students that otherwise could not afford to row.
